In this industry of network marketing a lot of people get the misconception of what it takes to be successful in this business. Like any other business venture start up, it takes intestinal fortitude for on thing. Most traditional businesses fail at a 99:1 ratio. In network marketing, the ratio is more like anywhere from 95:5 to 98:2 ratio. Yes, the numbers do not lie. However, I do not want to emphasize the numbers. I want to hit on why this failure pattern exists and how to have the number go in your favor.
Sure there are scams out there like in any area of business, but that is not the reason you are failing. As you can see, that failure is a factor in free enterprise–period. As matter of fact, the network marketing industry, failure rate is better than the traditional business model meaning that most people tend to lose more in traditional business ventures than any other business model.
If you are failing in networking marketing, it is simply because of some simple errors in judgment that you are making. This more of a mindset issue than anything. Sure, it could involve other factors like lack of team support and guidance on the basics, but more importantly, it is your belief system—philosophy. This affects every facet of your business success regardless of whatever excuse you make.
Your philosophy is what determines why you do what you do— even why you joined your company and even the people you associate with. Were you looking to get rich quick? Did you fall for the slick talker because of the dollar signs that were being thrown at you or were truly wanting to create a new life for yourself knowing that it would involve time to grow? We attract what we look for in life. If you are looking for a lottery ticket to success, you will attract those type of people who sign you up only to leave you hanging or get involve with the latest and greatest opportunity knowing that the only motivation was just the quick dollars involved.
We all have been dealt a bad hand before in life when getting started in the network marketing industry. However, it is just a growing pain that we must go through and learn from. The truth of the matter is that you a failing in you business not because of the company or compensation plan. It is because of your philosophy of the business. Are you operating you enterprise with an employee mindset? Do prospects feel like you are needy towards them? Do you even believe in your company or network marketing as a rewarding industry? Most importantly, do you belief in yourself?
If you can honestly answer those questions, then you are on the path to turning your business around. A lot people do not take the time to evaluate themselves to know why they aren’t excelling in their business venture. They think it is something that someone is not telling them–some secret code to success or magic training product. It is not. Success comes from the inside out. It always and always will.
So, I challenge to take responsibility for the failure in your business by reevaluating you philosophy in life and have it better serve you.
